Caprese Bites

The weather here in Vegas is getting cooler, and by cooler I mean it's below 100 degrees Fahrenheit. I can feel the fall weather coming up fast, but it needs to get cooler faster. I told myself I'll savor the last days of summer by making some Caprese bites to snack on -- and it's healthy too!


[pearl mozzarella, basil, grape tomatoes, toothpicks, truffle salt and black truffle oil]


It's so simple yet so satisfying. I actually ended up using smaller toothpicks to accommodate the size of the mozzarella and tomatoes. Slightly drizzle the bites with the black truffle oil and sprinkle just a little bit of the truffle salt as well, and enjoy!

  1. i couldn't tell how big those are, but when you changed your toothpicks to ordinary ones, i can now visualize... i'll see if can get some cherry tomatoes next week... thanks for this post!

    1. Cherry tomatoes might be too big, try looking for grape tomatoes :)
