Winter break is almost over, it's ridiculous. I woke up this morning with an urge to bake, and it just so happens that we have a dozen apples just sitting in the kitchen. I was then reminded of Cupcakes and Cashmere's post about French Apple Tart, and I followed a similar recipe. I didn't have any apricot preserves on hand, so instead I used Strawberry preserves. I served a slice with a scoop of french vanilla ice cream. Absolutely scrumptious :) I was not even aware I can make something so divine like this!
